Team Building With a
Difference
“The feedback was amazing, everyone was buzzing”

Introducing Lightbulb Teams
After years of keynote speaking, training and development programmes, David was always eager to embrace new ideas for helping others. While keynote speaking in the USA he came across this unique team-building exercise where groups built prosthetic hands from scratch. The concept deeply resonated with him, sparking a new direction in his work.
Through this idea Lightbulb Teams was born, an award-winning company that specialises in charity team building experiences. Breaking away from conventional team-building methods, Lightbulb Teams has developed a diverse range of interactive CSR programmes. These programmes are grounded in scientifically sound, evidence-based research, ensuring meaningful and impactful experiences for every participant.
Charity Team Building Experiences
We listen to our client’s requirements so we can deliver CSR team-builds that complement their event plans. All our programmes are adaptable and can run in-person, via a hybrid model, or in full remote mode.
Whether you opt to build a life-changing prosthetic hand, assemble a life-changing water filter or craft a wooden toy, our programmes are guaranteed to have participants stepping out of their comfort zones, laughing, and learning as they go—creating a meaningful legacy that lasts for years to come.

Our Team-Building Programmes
Give a Hand
Give a Hand is a hugely challenging and rewarding team-building experience that proves our attitude and our determination to tackle problems can make a positive, life-changing difference to the future of those less fortunate.
Your team will be tasked with constructing a prosthetic hand from scratch that will be later fitted to a recipient in a developing country that has lost a limb.
What a difference a few hours of fun, collaboration, and determination can achieve!
Water Works
The Water Works programme enables ordinary people across the world to get involved in building and donating a life-saving water filtration system that can protect the lives of an entire community.
Your team will never forget building life-saving water systems for people in desperate need on the other side of the world.
See for yourself the legacy that you and your team will create during a short space of time.
Toy for Life
While in Uganda for a distribution trip, we noticed children making and playing with toys made rubbish, and although we were moved by their creativity, we feared for their safety.
This inspired us to develop the Toy for Life programme, a fun team building experience that challenges your people to build beautiful wooden toys, by hand – piece by piece.
The toy will then be donated in your company’s name to children and schools across the developing world.
Team-Building Impact
