As the UK’s leading holiday park operator Parkdean has a commitment to ensure the best possible experience for its holidaymakers. Its recent leadership event brought the managerial team together to look at new ways to approach the delivery of its high-quality service.
The event was designed from the ground up to make sure they were exploiting every single opportunity to make the guest experience as good as it could possibly be. It was at this point that David knew he was working with a,
“leadership team that are entirely focused on the customer and delivering an amazing experience for them.”
In attendance were speakers who looked at customer service, efficiency and health and safety, not just in the United Kingdom, but also across the across the world. They also explored trends in the industry to set their sights firmly on the future.
Performance Keynote
David was honoured to be asked to join them in one of their flagship properties in Wales, to deliver his keynote that focused on small changes for big impact. In it he looked specifically at the proven psychology of how to boost people’s performance from good to great. He looked at the small changes that people can make and take every day to help skyrocket customer experience and help make customers feel truly like they’re part of an immersive experience.
He also explored the real science and psychology of leadership; how we build discretionary effort in our teams and how do team members, first of all, change and adapt their behaviour in challenging times but, second of all, make them also want to change and adapt.
