Making a return at the annual NECA Convention
June 10, 2024David was ecstatic to once again be invited back to join the team at NECA at their 2022 convention in Austin, Texas.
As the voice of the electrical construction industry in the US, NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association) contractors set the standard for traditional and integrated electrical systems and lead the industry in the practical application of new technologies.
For numerous years David has enjoyed a close relationship working with NECA on all of their biggest events and this one was no exception.
With more than 4,000 delegates in attendance this is the world’s largest event in the electrical contracting industry and brings together brands, suppliers and innovators. Its a great opportunity for everyone to share where they are today and set their intentions for where the industry is going in the future.
As well as being emcee for the event, David also delivered the keynote and learning sessions throughout the duration of the programme.
The NECA Convention is known for having a world-class lineup of speakers and at the 2022 event, David had the privilege of interviewing the team from Shark Tank about their careers and success stories.
A true community event, this three-day initiative gave David the chance to speak with many different audience members from all over the US, something he particularly enjoys doing.
David explained:
“I feel really lucky to be invited back to this event every single year.”
“Because I’ve worked on it for so long now I truly understand the audience and the industry and it’s a real honour for me to come back because my father was an electrical contractor so I’ve always felt a real kinship and closeness to this particular audience.
“For me NECA is not just an event it is a true family reunion and I look forward to it every year. I’m excited to join them at the next one in Philadelphia.”
