With a shared ethos of helping to build memories that last a lifetime, its recent leadership event brought senior managers together. They explored trends and patterns in the industry and discussed ways to invest in their own people’s ambition so they can continue to constantly raise the bar of what is already an extraordinary level of service.
Delivering a Hospitality Keynote
David was delighted to be asked to deliver a hospitality keynote for Bourne Leisure. As a company they’re constantly pushing the boundaries of what a hospitality and a leisure brand can be expected to achieve. This leadership summit was designed to truly stretch their expectations of what they can achieve together – to reimagine how they train and develop their people.

Throughout the event, held in Heythrop Park Hotel, they explored different aspects of what it is to deliver world-class food service and entertainment.
David’s session was designed to teach the proven psychological tools of how extraordinary organisations stay at the top of their game and continue to increase their own momentum as they move through the future in a competitive marketplace.
David’s Insights
David explained: “I live my life in hotels, often five nights a week and all across the world, so I like to think that I know what good hospitality looks and feels like, and I was absolutely blown away by every single aspect of the Bourne Leisure product and also by the approach of the leadership team.
“I was so incredibly grateful for the depth of scope and brief that the client gave me ahead of the event. It allowed me to truly understand their culture, their DNA, and what it is that makes them, and their people tick. It allowed me to deliver a bespoke keynote that helped them raise the bar on their leadership, raise the bar on their service, and ultimately raise their own expectations of what they can collectively achieve together, not only in 2024, but far beyond.
