Delivering an Online Keynote
With more than 77,000 employees across 68 countries, Thales understands the importance of connectivity in an increasingly hybrid and virtual working environment.
It’s never been more important to bring individuals and teams together to truly focus on what matters; build culture and a shared direction and set goals and ambitions for the future. And with his online keynote that’s just what David aimed to do.
He delivered a customised online keynote that would not only challenge but inspire the audience, with a particular emphasis on the characteristics, skills and tools that hybrid teams need to succeed.
David built a session that involved every single member – whether they were at home, dialling in from a coffee shop or in the office. Every single member’s voice was heard so that they all felt they were all part of something to help unify them to achieve their goals in 2024 and beyond.
David’s Comments
David explained:
“Organisations with a hybrid workforce need to be investing in culture and Thales understands this.
“If we’re not all meeting around the proverbial water fountain then we need to find ways for our people to know and understand who they are, what their strengths and weaknesses are, what a good day and a bad day looks like and what they bring to the table in a collaborative work environment. That’s ever more difficult to do it if you’re not seeing and bumping into people every day.
“For this reason we designed a session to catalyse those moments of interaction so people could truly understand who their colleagues were, what made them tick and what allowed them to do their best work.
“I love working with Thales and I’m always so honoured to be asked to deliver events like this. I’d like to thank the whole Thales team and in particular Chris Owens for his trust in bringing me in on what was such an important team event.
“I look forward to continuing to work with Chris and Thales in 2024.”
