TV Star David Meade recently worked his magic on the Action for Children Northern Ireland team as he staged a fundraising gig for the charity’s Byte Night event at the Black Box in Belfast.
Mentalist David is preparing himself for his biggest challenge yet as he teams up with with the charity for a fundraising sleep-out. The star will be slipping into a sleeping bag and spending a night exposed to the elements to raise vital funds for youth homelessness services in Northern Ireland.
Ahead of the big sleep-out, the brain-teaser raised awareness and funds for the charity by showcasing an array of dazzling new tricks from his forthcoming brand new live tour to the packed-out crowd at Belfast’s Black Box!
David explained: “One night really does make a difference. I’m thrilled to be involved in Byte Night and doing my bit for the big sleep out. I was delighted to have the opportunity to showcase some of my new work as a fund-raiser for such an important charity ahead of the actual Byte Night sleep-out in October.”
Action for Children Northern Ireland is holding the mass event on October 2 at the Belfast Activity Centre to help young people there to have a safe and loving place to call home.
Byte Night 2014 raised £1.1 million, with more 1,300 people sleeping out across the UK.
